Lawrence again one of the nation's best in the classroom

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's basketball team has again posted one of the nation's top grade point averages as the Vikings earned a place on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll.
The Vikings compiled a grade point average of 3.770 for the 2024-25, and that ranks Lawrence 13th in all of NCAA Division III. The Vikings moved down one spot from 2024 when Lawrence was 12th in the nation, but the team actually posted a higher grade point average this year.
Lawrence was the only team in the Midwest Conference to make the top 25, and one of five Wisconsin colleges to make the list.
The Vikings recently had 15 players chosen for the Academic All-Midwest Conference team. Lawrence's Maggie Culver, Caroline Sharpe, Mallory Meyer and Sophie Morey were also selected for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.
Lawrence put together another fine season on the court as well. The Vikings finished with an 18-8 overall record and took second in the Midwest Conference with a 12-4 mark. The Vikings earned a berth in the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament for the second consecutive season.
