APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University men's lacrosse standouts
Brody Herr and
Robbie Spielmann have been chosen for the All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference team in a vote of league coaches.
  Herr and Spielmann both received honorable mention.
  A first-year midfielder, Herr (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View) led Lawrence in scoring with 34 goals and piled up a team-best 44 points during the Vikings' inaugural season.Â
  Herr ranked fifth in the NACC at 2.27 goals per game and was ninth in the conference at 2.93 points per contest. In conference games, he finished seventh at 2.45 goals per game and was 10th at 3.09 points per game.
  In the regular-season finale, Herr scored a season-high seven goals and picked up eight points in Lawrence's victory over Marian University. He posted at least six goals in a game three times. Herr picked up a season-high nine points on the strength of six goals and a season-high three assists in a victory over Northland College.
  A first-year attacker, Spielmann (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower) led the Vikings in assists. Spielmann finished with 22 assists to go with 13 goals and was third on the squad with 35 points. He ranked seventh in the NACC at 1.38 assists per game.Â
  Spielmann handed out a season-high six assists and collected a season-best seven points in a victory at Northland. He posted five assists twice during the season, including in a season-ending victory over Marian.Â
  Spielmann scored a season-high three goals at Illinois Tech and picked up two goals against both Beloit College and Concordia University Wisconsin.
