MADISON, Wis. -- The Lake Forest College men's tennis team topped Lawrence University 5-0 in Friday's semifinals at the Midwest Conference Tournament at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
The matches were halted when Lake Forest clinched the overall victory.
The Foresters took control of the match by sweeping the three doubles matches. Lake Forest grabbed a tight 8-6 decision at No. 3 doubles and took an 8-4 win at No. 1 and an 8-3 victory at No. 2.
Lake Forest closed out the victory by winning at No. 1 and No. 4 singles.
