MADISON, Wis. -- Lawrence University women's tennis player
Lizzy Angemi reached the title match at No. 6 singles Sunday to pace the Vikings at the Midwest Conference Championships.
  Angemi won a pair of matches at Nielsen Tennis Stadium to reach the final against Grinnell College's Utsah Kalra. Angemi cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Monmouth College's Jennifer Shimmin ni the quarterfinals. Angemi then downed Lake Forest College's Isa Hinojosa 7-6, 6-2 in the semifinals. Her run came to an end with a 6-0, 6-0 loss to Kalra in the championship match.
  Angemi joined the No. 1 doubles team of
Emma Koppa and
Margot Connor as all-conference honorees for the Vikings.
  In flights 2 through 5, Lawrence reached the semifinals.
  At No. 2,
Lauren Aturaliya started with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Ripon College's Tia Endrizzi in the quarterfinals. Aturaliya was then eliminated with a 6-2, 6-0 loss to Lake Forest's Sara Lopez in the semifinals.
  Koppa topped Monmouth's Emily Henson 6-0, 6-2 in the quarterfinals at No. 3. Koppa was then stopped 6-2, 6-1 by Lake Forest's Margaret Bugnacki in the semifinals.

Chloe Lamb was a 6-4, 6-1 winner for the Vikings over Amanda Dragon of Cornell College in the quarterfinals at No. 4. Lamb then dropped a 6-2, 6-0 decision to Natalia Leite of Lake Forest in the semifinals.
  At No. 5, Lawrence's
Morgan Fisher started with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Ripon's Halle Hadel in the quarterfinals. Fisher then lost to eventual champion Sophia de los Reyes of Grinnell 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinals.
  Top singles player Connor lost to Emmaline Fievet of Cornell 6-2, 7-5 in the quarterfinals. Connor then downed Monmouth's Emily Laughlin 8-1 in the consolation semifinals before an 8-5 loss to Sophia Roth of Illinois College in the consolation championship.
