COLFAX, Wis. -- Lawrence University cross country standout Cristyn Oliver roared to 13th place Saturday to lead the Vikings at the NCAA Division III North Regional.
  Oliver completed the 6,000-meter layout at Whitetail Golf Course in 22:33.92 to lead Lawrence to 11th place in the team standings. The winner was Fiona Smith of the College of St. Benedict in 20:57.24. Oliver will learn on Sunday is she has qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships, which are set for Nov. 20 in Louisville, Ky.
  The next finisher for the Vikings was Edythmae Frodl, who took 58th in 23:33.83. Lawrence's Althea Foster was 76th in 23:51.30, and Riley Winebrenner was on her heels in 78th in 23:52.87. Madeline Taylor completed the scoring for the Vikings as she finished 116th in 24:38.63.Â
  The other finishers for the Vikings were Leah Hawksford, who was 148th in 25:13.22, and Mollie Davis, who was 169th in 25:43.39.
  Lawrence finished with 341 points to post one the top regional finishes in school history. UW-La Crosse won the regional title with 50 points.

Collin Beyer led the Lawrence men as he finished 41st and covered the 8,000-meter course in 25:34.64. David Fassbender of UW-Whitewater was the winner with a time of 24:34.05.Â
  Led by Beyer, Lawrence finished 23rd in the team standings with 591 points. Whitewater won the title with 58 points, one point better than UW-La Crosse.

Adam Bruce was the second finisher for the Vikings as he took 106th in 26:42.79. Lawrence's
Sam Brewer was 134th in 27:23.55, and
Owen West was 150th in 27:52.26.
Billy Daniels completed the scoring for Lawrence by placing 165th in 28:05.02.Â

Dylan Coble was right behind Daniels as he took 167th in 28:09.70, and
Ray Wetzel-Meehan was 212th in 31:24.60 to round out the Lawrence contingent.
