LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's tennis team opened its season on Wednesday with a 9-0 nonconference loss at UW-La Crosse.
    The Vikings took just one set from a very strong La Crosse squad. Chloe Lamb, making her collegiate debut playing No. 4 singles for Lawrence, split the opening two sets with Kaitlyn Kalinka, but Kalinka won the super-tiebreaker 10-6 to claim the victory at Green Island Tennis Park.
