DE PERE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team fell 7-2 to Saint Mary's (Minn.) University in the season opener Friday at the Green Bay Tennis Center.
  The Cardinals got off to a fast start with a sweep of the three doubles matches. Lawrence came back to win two of the five tightly contested singles matches.

Andrew Larson, picked up his first collegiate win with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Brandon Kurilla. Senior
Cam Strawn also was a winner for the Vikings as he took a 6-3, 2-6, 10-4 victory at No. 4 singles.
