RIPON, Wis. -- A pair of super-tiebreakers proved to be the difference Sunday as the Lawrence University men's tennis team dropped a 5-4 nonconference decision to Wartburg College at the Willmore Center.
  Lawrence led 4-3 with the Nos. 5 and 6 singles matches yet to be completed. Wartburg won both of those matches in a super-tiebreaker as Julian Nemmers topped Dylan Delgago 7-5, 4-6, 10-8 at No. 5, and Shimon Yonekura downed
Jackson Gross 6-0, 3-6, 10-7 at No. 6.
  Lawrence started the day strong as
Andrew Larson and
Giacomo Bocanegra picked up their first career doubles victory with an 8-3 win over Jeff Miller and Jack Veber.
Rahul Sabnis teamed with
Jonathan Hogan to give the Vikings an 8-6 win over Yonekura and Rob Arbuckle at No. 3 doubles.
  Larson then rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Joseph Haag at No. 1 singles, and Bocanegra downed Miller 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2.
