GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team opened its season Saturday with a 9-0 nonconference loss to Saint Mary's University at the Green Bay Tennis Center.
  The Vikings lost a pair of tight matches at No. 1 and No. 3 singles.Â
  Lawrence's top singles player,
Andrew Larson, fell to Evan Huemoeller 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 10-4.
Dylan Delgado, playing No. 3 singles for the Vikings, lost the opening set to Josh Jansse 1-6 but came back to take the second set 7-5. Janssen then took the third-set super-tiebreaker 11-9 to secure the win.
