APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team completed a successful Saturday with a 9-0 Midwest Conference victory over Monmouth College at Fox Cities Racquet Club.
  Lawrence (4-10, 2-0 MWC) had knocked off Illinois College 8-1 earlier in the day.
  The Vikings posted a pair of 8-2 victories at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles and got a forfeit at No. 3 to start the match.
  Lawrence then swept through the top five singles matches and got another forfeit at No. 6 singles. Top player
Andrew Larson was impressive on the afternoon as he romped past Sawyer Day 6-1, 6-2 to lead Lawrence's charge.
