COLFAX, Wis. -- Cristyn Oliver took the title at the Blugold Invitational on Friday, and the Lawrence University women's cross country team finished third in the team standings.
  Lawrence finished with 96 points and won the tiebreaker with UW-Stout to finish third.
    UW-Eau Claire won the team title with 58 points, and Lawrence finished ahead of NCAA Division I squads from Marquette University and the University of St. Thomas. Lawrence, ranked 10th in the North Region, also topped Stout, which came in ranked sixth in the region.
  Oliver took the title with a time of 22:18.4 over the 6,000-meter course at Whitetail Golf Course. First-year runner Mila Westra took sixth place with a time of 22:46.4, which is the fourth-fastest 6,000-meter time in Lawrence history. She slipped just in front of Colleen Detjens, who ran 22:47 back in 2004.
  Edythmae Frodl was next for the Vikings as she grabbed 10th place with a time of 23:11.3. Riley Winebrenner raced to 34th place for the Vikings in 23:47.5, and Amelia Wiesner was 45th in 24:15.8 to complete the scoring.Â
  On the men's side, the Vikings finished sixth in the team standings with 169 points. UW-La Crosse took the team title with 28.

Nick Hansen was the top finisher for the Vikings as he took 21st and covered the 8,000 meters in 25:37.3.
Finn Lee and
Zach Meyer were next for the Vikings as Lee took 33rd in 26:21.7 and Meyer was 34th in 26:22.1.Â

Caleb Hardy finished 37th in 26:40.4, and
Sam Brewer completed the scoring for the Vikings by taking 44th in 27:05.3.
