MONMOUTH, Ill. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 Midwest Conference victory over Monmouth College on Saturday morning at Monmouth Tennis Stadium.
  The Vikings swept the two doubles matches that were contested by identical 8-0 scores, and the No. 3 doubles matches was forfeited by the Scots.
  Lawrence (4-8, 2-1 MWC) won four of the five contested singles matches in straight sets. The No. 6 singles match was forfeited by Monmouth.
Owen Horton at No. 2,
Gabriel Garcia at No. 3 and
Jonah Friedmann at No. 5 all won 6-0, 6-0, and
Andrew Larson was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at No. 1.
Ethan Uribe won the opening set 6-2 at No. 4 but dropped the second set 6-4. Uribe came back to take the super-tiebreaker 10-5 to win the match.  Â
  Monmouth drops to 0-8 overall and 0-3 in the league.
