MEQUON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's cross country team raced to second place at the Ken Weidt Classic on Saturday, and Cristyn Oliver was the runner-up for the Vikings.
  UW-La Crosse, Lawrence and Concordia Wisconsin were the top three teams by a wide margin. La Crosse won the team title with 45 points, and the Vikings were a close second with 51. Concordia was third with 57.
  Oliver covered the 6,000 meters in 23:14.1 to take second place, and Concordia's Ainara Sainz De Rozas took the top spot in 22:40.0.
  Rookie Mila Westra was fifth for the Vikings in 23:49.5, and teammate Edythmae Frodl was sixth in 23:52.1. Riley Winebrenner took 16th for Lawrence with a time of 24:39.4, and Mollie Davis completed the scoring by finishing 22nd in 25:11.1.
  On the men's side, MSOE won the team title with 30 points, and UW-La Crosse was second with 50. Lawrence took third place with 66 points.

Sam Brewer was Lawrence's top finisher as he took fifth by covering the 8,000 meters in 26:44.1. Rookie
Nick Hansen was right with Brewer as he took sixth in 26:45.9.Â

Zach Meyer was next for the Vikings as he finished 16th in 26:51.6.
Finn Lee took 20th for the Vikings with a time of 27:14.7, and
Ryan Cassiday finished the scoring by taking 29th in 28:37.2.
  Adam Shaw of MSOE was the individual winner with a time of 25:29.7.
