RIPON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University track and field teams picked up five victories Friday at the Red Hawk Open at the Willmore Center.
  Rookie runner Zach Meyer won the 800 meters in a quick 1:57.57, which ranks him 33rd in all of NCAA Division III.Â
  Lawrence also swept the top two spots in the 5,000 meters as Ryan Cassiday took the top spot with a time of 15:37.07. Rookie teammate Nick Hansen was a close second in 15:41.27.
  Tristan Zook grabbed third in the 400 meters in 52.87 seconds, and Leo Hagberg was third in the triple jump at 42 feet, 2.25 inches.
  The distance runners led the way for the Lawrence women as they picked up a pair of wins.
Cristyn Oliver led a 1-2-3 sweep for the Vikings in the 3,000. Oliver was first in 10:55.41 with
Riley Winebrenner a close second at 10:58.02.
Edythmae Frodl was right on Winebrenner's heels as she took third in 11:00.75.
  Lawrence also grabbed the top two spots in the 5,000 with
Natalie Anderson finishing first in 20:56.70, and
Eli Wunderlich taking second in 23:00.69.
  Rookie
Mila Westra took home the other first place as she won the 800 in 2:24.62, which is the fastest time in the Midwest Conference this season.

Irene Yank grabbed second place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.35 seconds, and
Gaby Skorczewski was third in the 400 in 1:04.28.
