For the second time this season, first-years Ally CorrenteĀ Ā and Audrey Weier have swept the Midwest Conference Volleyball Player of the Week awards, continuing to make their mark in an impressive debut season.
Ally, the team's setter, was instrumental in leading the offense, tallying high assist numbers across the weekendāand surpassing an incredible milestone with 1,000 career assists. Her smart playmaking and steady leadership kept the team in rhythm throughout both matches.
Audrey, a dominant presence at middle blocker, made her impact felt at the net with key blocks and efficient kills, anchoring the defense and helping control the pace of play. She contributed a combined 29 kills and 7assist through two matches this weekend.Ā
Their efforts helped propel the team to a 2-0 record in conference play over the weekend, further cementing their roles as rising stars. This marks the second time the duo has swept the conference's weekly honors, proving they're a force to be reckoned with.
