APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University track and field teams picked up six event wins Wednesday at the Viking Twilight at Whiting Field.

Irene Yank was a double winner for the Vikings, and
Riley Winebrenner, Ryan Cassiday, Finn Lee and Will Eggert also picked up wins for Lawrence.
  Yank was first in the women's 100-meter hurdles in 17.02 seconds as she won by nearly a second over St. Norbert College's Kyra Kopec. Yank also grabbed first in the triple jump with a leap of 33 feet, 11.25 inches. Teammate
Anna Vanden Acker was third with a jump of 30-3.5.
  Winebrenner ran to victory in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:52.97, and Nick Hansen took third in the men's steeplechase in 10:31.04.Â
  Cassiday topped UW-Oshkosh's Alex Arndt in the men's 1,500 meters. Cassiday ran to victory in 4:06.48 to win by nearly four seconds over Arndt, and Lawrence's Zach Meyer took third in 4:12.25.
    Lee led a 1-2 finish in the men's 10,000 meters. Lee won the race in 31:50.28, and teammate Sam Brewer was second in 32:34.57. In the women's 10,000,
Jasmine Moldenhauer took third in 42:42.38.
  Eggert grabbed victory in the javelin with a throw of 153-3 to win by more than nine feet.Â

Cristyn Oliver raced to a second-place finish in the women's 1,500 after a tight battle with UW-Oshkosh's Cyna Madigan. Madigan won in 4:45.20, and Oliver was second in 4:46.31.
Edythmae Frodl took second place in the women's 5,000 with a time of 19:00.85, and
Ella Fajardo-Wilde grabbed second in the women's 400 in 1:00.78.
    In the men's 800, Alex Luckett grabbed second place in 2:01.93, and Ray Wetzel-Meehan took third place in the 400 hurdles in 1:02.25. Leo Hagberg took second in the men's triple jump with a leap of 42-8.75.
  The men's 4x400 relay team of Tristan Zook, Meyer, Bergen Thorson and Luckett finished second in 3:38.74. Lawrence's 4x400 relay team of
Faith Onukaogu, Oliver,
Mila Westra and
Gaby Skorczewski took third in 4:23.06.Â
